Do I need to be a registered business to sign up on PayO?

No, you don't need to have a registered business to sign up on PayO. If you're an individual or a freelancer who wants to send invoices to your customers, pay bills, and collect payments then PayO is the right platform for you.

Is it safe to make or collect payments on PayO?

Yes. PayO has been approved by its banking partners (ICICI and Yes Bank) to make or receive payments. We are also fully compliant with all Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regulations.

What kind of bank accounts can be linked with PayO to make payments?

Currently, you can link multiple current accounts of ICICI and Yes Bank with PayO to make payments. However, we are quickly onboarding other banks within the next 3 months.

I have an account with a bank other than ICICI and Yes Bank, can I still use PayO?

Yes, absolutely! You can collect payments, do GST billing, and much more even if you have a savings or a current account with a bank other than ICICI or Yes Bank. However, you won't be able to make payments if you're account is not linked.

Is it mandatory to complete the KYC on PayO?

You need to complete the KYC on PayO only if you are planning to collect payments via PayO. The payment gateway collection feature will be disabled on your PayO account until you've completed the KYC on PayO. All other features on your PayO plan will be available without completing your KYC.
